Nauvoo

 Visited the Nauvoo temple
 Joseph and Hyrum
Visited many of the historical sights
Noah and Courage learned how to make a rope

 Ella Joy loved the breadmaking
 David loved the guns
We stayed in a beautiful cabin

That had a real pioneer wagon with a bed inside.

 We found the Easter bunny
 and an Easter egg hunt

Went on a wagon ride through old Nauvoo, it was chilly day
Here we are pictured by a plaque that was dedicated to David's great great grandmother
Zina Huntington Jacobs Young who lived in Nauvoo and trekked west with the pioneers

 Visited Carthage

We had a wonderful trip to Nauvoo. I learned so much about early Church history and felt the Spirit so strong as the senior missionaries shared their knowledge and testimonies with us.  It truly is a special place and we hope to go back again so we can see the pageant one summer.

The kids had a great time outside enjoying the more temperate climate.  I think there favorite part was going to a park after 7 months of snowy weather. It was so much fun to have the Amsbury family  come with us.
