Halloween

Noah so thrilled to take pictures!

Noah brought along his friend Morgan who lives in our neighborhood. We drove to Ardmore where there is an entire street blocked off for trick or treaters. The houses are all decorated and kids running around all dressed up! It was so much fun!!

The lady bug ready to go!

Once Ella Joy grasped the idea that you walk to the door, put up the bucket, and the people put candy in it, she was unstoppable. She wouldn't let go of her bucket and would scream if anyone else touched it. It was hilarious to watch a true trick or treater come to life!

Noah and Morgan had so much fun together!!

KiKi's Visit

We were all so glad to have KiKi travel the long distance from NYC to come visit us in North Carolina. Now I know that NYC is supposed to be one of the most exciting cities in the world but I want to know, KiKI, if during your time in NYC you have ever...

morphed into a butterfly and been hand-painted by a ninja or...

hand fed a baby ladybug or....

swung in a baby swing or...

seen a baby in a box flirting with a scarecrow or...

had your fortune told by a lady wearing an eyeball tie? (I was pretty desperate for a costume.) What about showing up at a elementary school Fall Festival and being the only 4 people dressed in costume? Or experiencing a trunk or treat in a Church gym? Or attending an opthalmology picnic followed by a competitive game of softball. Surely the highlight must have been attending Church en espanol. Come on I know that you thought the first speaker was a hottie.

I mean I think your weekend here definitely puts Winston-Salem on the map for places one must visit before they die!

Thanks for coming and enduring all of the family functions! We had a blast!

Where did everyone sleep?

This weekend my mom, Shelly, Rob, Pat, and Melissa all came to visit. Many of my friends asked where is everyone going to sleep? Not to worry. All my family needs is a open floor space and a bed it will become. Even if I did have rooms for everyone to sleep in I'm pretty sure they would end up in the middle of the living room or wherever theTV happens to be. So here is my favorite picture from the weekend. We moved the TV from our room so we could all watch a movie together. We started the movie at 10:00. By 10:15 David and I were the only ones awake and this is what we saw. I guess this is what happens when there is nothing to drink. Welcome to our Happy Mormon Home!!!!

Thoughts from the dreamers starting from left to right:
Rob: A corner of an air matress and a pillow from the sofa...what kind of family is this?
Shelly: I am a princess...a little squished...but still a princess!
Melissa: Pat could you please stop snoring and breath the other way
Pat: Pumpkin seeds can't wait to eat the grey pumpkin seeds
Boots: This is heaven
Mom: As soon as I get up I'll start working on the Apple Crisp. Melissa can peel and cut the apples. The other kids are useless. Then I'll go to church at 11:00.....

"If she pulls any harder I'll bite that pap pap out of her mouth."

"Only 2 more days and it will be just me and Christie again. "

"I really like this guy."

It's Only Been 2 Weeks

So I got a nasty call from one of my sisters this morning (I won't say which one) ordering me to update my blog. Evidently Shannon complained to my sister whose name we aren't mentioning and that is what incited her phone call to me. I know it's just their sweet way of letting me know what big fans they are. Thanks for being so devoted!

So here are some pictures of my wild things.

Swimming in October?

How can I say no to this face?

"Noah, was that you?"

"I've got my purse, my baby, the stroller
What am I missing?"

"Oh the bottle! I knew I was forgetting something."
